By unanimous vote, the boards of Willamette University and Pacific University have agreed to work toward the goal of entering into an agreement to create a combined institution that would be the largest private university in Oregon, provisionally named, the University of the Northwest.
We are at the early stages of this project. There is much work to do, but President Thorsett would like to share with you the vision that has inspired us to pursue this opportunity with Pacific.
